About Frank Cisternino



Owner/Head Coach Frank Cisternino has been CrossFitting for over 10 years and specialises in CrossFit, Strength and Conditioning, Sport-Specific Training, Nutrition and Weight Loss. He’s passionate about coaching and training. “Being able to do what you love as a job and in turn help others in the process is the best,” he says. “It doesn’t get much better than that. For that one hour, I can make a difference in a person’s life—that’s why I love what I do!”


Frank has always been active. “Playing sports has been a huge part of my life—whether it’s football, cricket, basketball, or athletics,” he says. “Through my sports, going to the gym became a crucial part of my training and that’s where the love began. It has been part of my life ever since, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”


Frank’s been in the fitness industry for nearly 25 years, and started as a gym instructor back when they existed; then personal training and group fitness soon followed. “Always wanting to learn more and better myself, I started to explore different ways of training,” he says. “It was during this time I became very good friends with another trainer, and now business partner, Dan, and we decided to start up our own BootCamp business. With our BootCamp business going really well and CrossFit becoming such a big part of our training, it was time to take the next BIG step—so we opened our own CrossFit Box, and it has been the best thing I have ever done.” He is a firm believer that your only limit is you.


When he is not at the gym, Frank enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially as he has recently become a dad to baby daughter Mia. Fun facts: He is an electrician by trade, and played the drums as a youngster.
